‘Lucifer’ Star Tom Ellis Returning For Season 6 on Netflix
After issues with his Season 6 contract, Ellis has officially signed on, all but guaranteeing a Season 6.
The show originated on Fox but was cancelled after Season 3, then finding new life on Netflix for two more seasons (Season 5 has not aired yet). Netflix decided to move forward with a sixth season before contractual issues stopped development.
Season 5 is expected to hit Netflix sometime in 2020.
