With Ahsoka Tano Making An Appearance In The Mandalorian Season 2, Is Sabine Wren Next?
With Dave Filoni, creator and executive producer on Star Wars: Rebels, working with Jon Favreau on The Mandalorian, we see his influences on that show, from mythology to characters.
The first season of the Mandalorian saw references to the Death Watch, an important storyline in Filoni’s Star Wars: Rebels. And who can forget the end of season one, which saw the character Moff Gideon wielding the Dark Saber, a legendary weapon directly connected to Mandalorian mythology that had important story arcs in both The Clone Wars and Rebels.
Now, that we have word that fan favorite Ahsoka Tano has been cast for Season 2, can Sabine Wren be that far behind? After all, she was an integral character in the Dark Saber storyline. If there is one character that needs to be in the Mandalorian given the events of the season finale, it would be her.
