Bong Joon-ho’s ‘Parasite’ Storyboards To Be Released As A Graphic Novel
Grand Central Publishing has announced that the film is coming in graphic novel form.
Not much work is expected to make this a reality as the director is notorious for his meticulous story boarding in previous films. In Parasite’s case, it has 300 pages of storyboarding, drawn by Bong Joon-ho himself.
“Accompanied by the film’s dialog, the storyboards he drew capture the story in its entirety,” says Grand Central Publishing.
The storyboards were previously released as a two volume set in South Korea last year, but will only now arrive stateside May 19th. For the North American release, the dialogue and stage directions will be translated into English.
