New Star Wars Movie Set On The Sith Planet Exegol Reportedly In Development, ‘Sleight’ Filmmaker J.D. Dillard To Direct
In news completely out of nowhere, The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline are reporting that a new Star Wars movie set of the Rise of Skywalker’s Sith Planet of Exegol is being developed. ‘Sleight’ director J.D. Dillard is set to helm the project along with screenwriter Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage). It is unknown if this is a theatrical release or a film for Disney+, but it is unrelated to the Kevin Feige and Rian Johnson projects.
