Ahsoka Tano co-creator Dave Filoni Talks About Whether Her Cameo In Rise Of Skywalker Means She’s Dead
In speaking to io9, Star Wars’ Dave Filoni spoke on the thought that Rey hearing Tano’s voice during her confrontation with the Emperor in Rise of Skywalker meant she was dead.
“I remember in The Empire Strikes Back Luke speaking out through the force to Leia. Vader also does this at the end of Empire Strikes Back. There’s no absoluteness that these people are dead. I mean, some of them we know are dead.” Fan favorite Tano makes her return this Friday in the final season of The Clone Wars on Disney+.
