The Witcher Animated Series Is Getting Company On Netflix
Out of all places to get news, LinkedIn has given some information on the Diablo and Overwatch franchises.
Nick Van Dyk, Activision Blizzard Studios co-president, has listed on his profile that he is the “…executive producer of Diablo, a TV adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment’s IP, rendered in anime style… currently in pre-production for distribution worldwide through Netflix”
Not to be outdone, he also includes on his profile that, with his “creative partner”, he has “developed and sold an animated series based Blizzard’s Overwatch franchise”
Given the extensive story that Diablo has and the ever expanding Overwatch universe, it would seem like now is the time to create series for them, let’s see if these projects come to fruition.
