Report: New Planet of the Apes Movie Will Reportedly Reboot Franchise
Per a report from DiscussingFilm, Disney and 20th Century Studios is looking at director Wes Ball’s take on the Planet of the Apes franchise as a reboot, not in continuity with the previous movies.
The film is to start production later this year with a targeted release date sometime in 2022.
