“Spider-Man: Homecoming” Screenwriters In Talks To Direct DC Flash Movie
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” screenwriters Johnathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are reportedly in talks to direct DC Comics superhero movie “Flashpoint,” based on the 2011 DC Comic.
The Flashpoint storyline served as a reboot to the DC Comics universe, where it sees Barry Allen using the Speed Force to go back in time to avert his mother’s murder, changing the timeline. This effectively set up the “New 52” continuity.
No word on how this will be adapted on screen. The Flash movie itself has been in development hell for a while, losing a number of screenwriters and directors since it was first announced in 2014.
