Uncharted Movie Loses Its Sixth Director Over Scheduling Issues With Spider-Man

Deadline is reporting that Travis Knight, who directed the Transformers spinoff Bumblebee, has left the project due to scheduling conflicts with Tom Holland and the upcoming Spider-Man 3 film.

Sources said Sony still intends to move forward with the film with a new director and a new release date.

The movie claims its sixth director since development on the film started: Dan Tractenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) left in 2019, Shawn Levy (Free Guy) in 2018, Seth Gordon (Baywatch) in 2015, Neil Burger (Divergent) in 2012, and David O. Russell (American Hustle) in 2011.
