Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker jumps out of hyperspace with slightly higher than expected numbers (the studio projected around $165M), but still places the end of the Skywalker saga as the lowest grossing film in the sequel trilogy.
Despite that, The Rise Of Skywalker is now the third-largest December opening of all-time. Globally, it earned an extra $198M.
